The Cytiva V9-IB inlet valve kit expands buffer-B routing options on compatible ÄKTA pure 25 protein purification chromatography systems. The optional kit supports connection of up to seven buffer-B inlets, with an integrated air sensor to help prevent air from entering the system. This is useful when chromatographic methods require multiple B-side buffers, wash solutions, or changing salt conditions without repeated manual line switching. Inlet selection is managed through the instrument fluidic and software configuration. The component is supplied as a dedicated valve kit rather than an independent pumping or separation system. It differs from the V9-IA buffer-A inlet valve kit and should be ordered for the designated buffer path. Correct plumbing and instrument configuration are needed to make use of the expanded inlet choices.
