Eppendorf, F440200035, CryoCube® F440n

How can I choose the right ULT freezer in a 400 – 500 L/300 – 350 freezer box scale for my lab? Where do I need to pay attention to get a reliable -80 °C freezer?
The Eppendorf CryoCube F440 series offers a 5-compartment lay-out and 5 insulated inner doors for easy sample access and safe sample storage at -80 °C. The walls are 130 mm thick based on foam and vacuum insulation panels (for the “h” version).
The ULT freezer has a volume of 440 L (15.5 cubic feet) and a temperature range from -50 °C to -86 °C. The CryoCube F440 series is based on two different freezer models:
CryoCube F440n:
• 130 mm wall (polyurethane insulation)
• Hydrocarbon-based cooling liquids (R290/ R170)
• Air-cooling
CryoCube F440h:
• 130 mm wall (polyurethane insulation and vacuum insulation panels)
• Hydrocarbon-based cooling liquids (R290/ R170)
• Air-cooling
Volume: 440 L (15.5 ft3), e.g. up to 32,000 samples
Efficient insulation, composed of traditional insulation ("n"-version) and vacuum insulation panels ("h"-version), saves energy
Efficient compressor control system reduces cycle times to lower energy consumption and increases freezer longevity
Automatic vent port on front door of upright CryoCube models improves energy consumption and enables fast sample access
Lockable main switch to prevent switch-offs by accident
Location for chart recorder for data documentation
Ergonomic door handle of CryoCube models based on Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept® requires less force and provides easier access
Air-cooled
Stainless steel interior for easy cleaning during maintenance and defrost cycles; powder-coated steel exterior
