Parteck® PLX 188 is a pharmaceutical-grade, nonionic poloxamer 188 excipient used as a surfactant and formulation stabilizer. This configuration supplies 5 kg and is stabilized with approximately 70 ppm butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT). The amphiphilic poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide) block copolymer supports wetting, solubilization and interfacial stabilization in suitable liquid formulations. Pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications include formulation development for proteins, cell-based processes and products requiring controlled surfactant behavior. The material is offered under EMPROVE® ESSENTIAL with reference to Ph. Eur., ChP, JPE and NF compendial standards. The 5 kg pack supports process-development and larger-scale manufacturing activities where ingredient identity, change control and qualification documentation are important.
