Titriplex® III is ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt dihydrate supplied as an analytical-grade chelating reagent. The 250 g pack meets ACS, ISO and Reag. Ph Eur specifications and is used where controlled complexation of metal ions is required. EDTA disodium salt forms stable complexes with many divalent and multivalent cations, making it useful in complexometric titration, analytical solution preparation and workflows that need metal-ion sequestration. The reagent can also be used to suppress metal-dependent reactions in laboratory preparations when the method specifically calls for EDTA. Its defined analytical grade helps reduce uncertainty from trace contaminants when quantitative chelation or titrimetric measurements are required.
