Merck EXtrelut® NT 20 columns perform supported liquid extraction (SLE) of lipophilic compounds from aqueous samples. Each prepacked polyethylene column contains chemically inert, wide-pore, high-purity diatomaceous earth that distributes the aqueous phase across a solid support. The 20 mL maximum sample capacity supports sample cleanup before solvent-based analytical measurements. After sample loading and equilibration, an immiscible extraction solvent elutes target compounds through the outlet cannula. The package contains 25 prepacked columns and provides a ready-to-use extraction format for routine sample preparation.
