Answer:It is a nonionic block-copolymer surfactant.
Answer:This grade is used mainly as a stabilizing surfactant in biopharmaceutical liquid formulations.
Poloxamer 188 EMPROVE® EXPERT is a nonionic block-copolymer surfactant used in biopharmaceutical formulation and process development. This configuration contains 10 kg in a plastic box and is stabilized with 70 ppm BHT. The material complies with relevant Ph Eur, ChP, and NF requirements and is supported by the Emprove documentation framework for regulated manufacturing environments. Poloxamer 188 can reduce interfacial and mechanical stress in liquid formulations and is widely used as a formulation stabilizer for proteins and other biologics. The 137112 grade is particularly positioned for protein stabilization in liquid formulations, while other Poloxamer 188 grades are optimized specifically for cell-culture shear protection. The 10 kg bulk format is suited to process development, scale-up, and manufacturing where consistent compendial raw-material quality is required.
