Merck manu-CART NT is a reusable HPLC cartridge holder for the LiChroCART column-cartridge system. It accepts compatible cartridges with 2, 3, 4 or 4.6 mm internal diameters and lengths of 75, 100, 125, 150 or 250 mm. The one-turn, hand-tight design facilitates installation and exchange of compatible analytical cartridges and precolumns without treating the holder as a packed separation column. The holder helps laboratories maintain a modular LiChroCART setup when different stationary-phase chemistries or cartridge dimensions are required. Cartridge selection, connection fittings and appropriate HPLC pressure conditions must still match the assembled system. The holder does not contain a separation medium; a compatible LiChroCART cartridge is needed to perform a chromatographic separation.
