Answer:The standard contains nominally 1% water, equivalent to 10 mg H₂O per gram.
Answer:It is a certified reference material for volumetric Karl Fischer titration.
Answer:The selling pack contains ten sealed glass ampoules of 8 mL each.
Aquastar 1% water standard is a certified liquid reference material for checking the accuracy of volumetric Karl Fischer moisture determinations. Its nominal water concentration is 1%, corresponding to 10 mg of water per gram of standard. The material is supplied in ten 8 mL sealed glass ampoules, which help reduce changes in moisture content caused by repeated container opening. It is suitable for volumetric Karl Fischer titration system checks, including verification of reagent performance and measurement recovery. Open a fresh ampoule immediately before use, weigh or measure the required test portion in line with the validated procedure, and minimize exposure to ambient humidity. The measured water result should be compared with the certified value and acceptance interval in the lot-specific certificate. This standard is not a general-purpose water reagent or a coulometric titration reagent. Controlled storage, accurate sample handling and full documentation of the lot and result are important for reliable moisture-analysis quality control.
