Merck, CVGB71TP3, Hydrophobic Durapore® 0.22 µm, Cartridge

The Merck Millipore hydrophobic Durapore cartridge combines a 0.22 µm PVDF membrane with a 10-inch pleated cartridge format for applications requiring a hydrophobic separation surface. Its Code 7 end connection allows installation in a compatible sanitary filtration housing, while the polypropylene construction and silicone sealing elements form the filter assembly. The 10-inch cartridge provides approximately 0.69 m² of filtration area and is supplied in a pack of three, individually protected within double easy-open packaging. Hydrophobic PVDF does not spontaneously wet with water, so filter wetting and integrity test conditions must reflect the intended fluid and validated operating protocol. This construction may be selected for appropriate gas, vent or compatible solvent filtration duties; the exact application and microbial-retention claim require system-level validation. Inspect gasket placement and the cartridge sealing interface before pressurizing the housing. The product is a replacement cartridge and does not include a complete filter housing.
