Eppendorf® is a top company in the field of life science. They create and sell tools, materials, and services for handling liquids, samples, and cells in laboratories worldwide. The materials used and the design of their pipettes are determined by factors like chemical resistance and autoclavability. To prolong the lifespan of your pipetting instrument, it is recommended to clean and inspect it regularly, perform maintenance, and replace worn-out parts instead of buying new pipettes. Since pipettes are precision instruments that may become less precise over time due to normal wear and tear, regular maintenance and calibration are essential to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
Features and Benefits
Electronic air-cushion pipettes are evolving to be more simple, accurate, and reproducible.
Multi-function rockerwith "up is up" (aspiration) and "down is down"(dispensing) logic allows for intuitive handling.
An ergonomic angle and self-explanatory color display without submenus allow for the best readability in any position.
Spring-loaded tip cone on all pipettes up to 1,000 µL, minimizes tip attachment forces and helps reduce stress during pipetting.
A strong rechargeable battery enables continuous use for up to 8 hours without the need for recharging.
The selection dial allows for quick and easy mode selection.
To minimize the force needed to attach tips and reduce stress, our pipettes up to 1,000 µL are equipped with a tip cone that is spring-loaded.
The separate power socket allows to continue work while charging.
Easy adaptation to environmental factors such as geographic height and highly dense liquids.
Can autoclave the lower part of the pipette to ensure decontamination.
The tip cone of the pipette is equipped with a spring mechanism (excluding the 1,200 µLmulti-channel model).
Xplorer plus offers features like individual programming, fixed volume settings, password protection, an on/off switch, additional applications, and displaying service intervals.
Ensuring results you can rely on: Accuracy and precision consistently within limits of ISO 8655
You always have the choice to work with other manu- facturer’s tips: Calibrated for use with epT.I.P.S. (384) pipette tips but featuring a universal cone system
Misaligned pipette tips or tips falling off, or not being ejected properly are a thing of the past: Spring-loaded tip cones1 enable effortless tip attachment and SOFT eject technology reduces tip ejection forces by up to 50%
Making your lab work safer and helping to keep your samples free from contamination: Our multi-channel pipettes are easy and fast to dismantle and always autoclavable
Built to last and serve you for a long time in the lab: Premium materials and UV resistance are staples of our pipette development
Supporting healthy working conditions in the lab: Low weight, an ideal hand balance and low operation forces in line with the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept
