Millistak+® C0HC Lenticular Disc Filter is used for depth filtration and clarification of bioprocess fluids where removal of cells, debris, colloids, and particulate matter is required before downstream purification. This 16-inch, 8-cell lenticular format provides 1.8 m² filtration area and is supplied as two units per pack. The depth-filter structure combines cellulose, inorganic filter aid, mixed cellulose esters, polypropylene support components, and silicone seals. The hydrophilic media provides volumetric depth capacity that allows contaminants to be captured throughout the filter matrix rather than only at the surface. The C0HC configuration is suited to bioprocess clarification duties, including perfusion-bioreactor fluid processing and other cell-culture harvest applications. The lenticular format is designed for use in compatible housings and supports scale-up from smaller depth-filter formats to larger production processing volumes.
