Answer:The SimFilter final point-of-use filter is rated at 0.05 µm.
Answer:It is fitted at the water dispensing outlet of compatible Merck Simplicity purification systems.
Answer:No. It is the final water-dispensing filter, separate from the SimpliPak purification cartridge.
The Merck Milli-Q SimFilter is a 0.05 µm final filter for compatible Simplicity laboratory water purification systems. Installed at the dispensing outlet, it removes particles larger than the rated pore size as purified water leaves the system, providing a final particulate barrier close to the point of use. This replacement accessory supports applications requiring low particulate and microbial contamination in dispensed ultrapure water, within the performance of the complete water system and the validated operating conditions. It is distinct from the upstream SimpliPak purification cartridge and from a storage-tank vent filter, which protects incoming air rather than dispensed water. Install the filter at the specified outlet position without touching critical fluid-contact surfaces. Follow the system startup, rinse or flushing procedure after replacement and check for leaks or restricted water flow. Replace filters in line with system performance, maintenance guidance and analytical requirements. A 0.05 µm pore rating does not by itself certify endotoxin, nuclease or all microbial contaminant removal in every application. The package contains one final filter.
