Answer:Vialed liquids and soluble powders, including materials requiring dilution before sterility testing.
Steridilutor® NEO is a sterile, disposable sample-transfer and dilution device for preparation of vialed pharmaceuticals before sterility testing. The device includes an expansion chamber to accommodate venting during transfer of diluent and is intended for soluble powders, highly active antibiotics and samples requiring controlled dilution or pooling. A small-diameter double-needle transfer arrangement connects the vialed material with a diluent container, after which the prepared sample can be processed with a compatible Steritest® NEO membrane-filtration device. The assembly uses a stainless-steel needle, nylon 66 needle adapter and PVC tubing. This configuration contains ten individually blister-packed devices. It is gamma-irradiated and designed for workflows aligned with pharmacopoeial sterility-test procedures.
