Answer:This formulation supports cultivation of yeasts and molds in microbiological work.
Answer:The product's specified solubility is 30 g/L; prepare and sterilize the medium using the applicable validated method.
Answer:It contains 2% dextrose and has a prepared-medium pH of about 5.5–5.7; the pack size is 500 g.
GranuCult prime Sabouraud Dextrose Broth is a dehydrated granular medium formulated for the cultivation of yeasts and molds in microbiological testing. Its 2% dextrose content provides an accessible carbohydrate source, while the acidic prepared-medium pH of approximately 5.5–5.7 favors many fungal applications. The 500 g container is reconstituted at 30 g/L of water, then sterilized and used under the laboratory's validated microbiology procedure. The granular form facilitates preparation of batches of fungal culture broth without handling an immediately ready-to-inoculate liquid medium. Select incubation conditions and additional tests for the target organism; the medium supports fungal cultivation but does not independently identify a species.
