Description
30153-1-AP targets ADCY5 in WB, IHC, IF-P, ELISA applications and shows reactivity with human, mouse, rat samples.
Tested Applications
Positive IHC detected in: rat brain tissueNote: suggested antigen retrieval withTE buffer pH 9.0;(*) Alternatively, antigen retrieval may be performed withcitrate buffer pH 6.0
Positive IF-P detected in: mouse brain tissue
Recommended dilution
Immunohistochemistry (IHC): IHC : 1:50-1:500
Immunofluorescence (IF)-P: IF-P : 1:50-1:500
Background Information
ADCY5 belongs to the adenylate cyclase (ADCY) superfamily which is a group of glycoproteins regulating intracellular signaling (PMID: 35832555). ADCY5 is expressed only in neurons and all neurons express ADCY5 (PMID: 31970214). Gain-of-function mutations in ADCY5 is linked to a rare movement-onset disorder called ADCY5-related dyskinesia (PMID: 32627162).
