Restek Rtx-624 is a GC capillary column configured for volatile organic compound analysis. The 75 m column has a 0.53 mm internal diameter and a relatively thick 3.00 µm stationary-phase film. Its 624-type polarity supports separation of early-eluting volatile compounds in methods such as U.S. EPA VOC procedures. The phase is equivalent to USP G43 and has an operating temperature range of −20 to 240 °C. The long, wide-bore, thick-film format has different flow, capacity and retention characteristics from shorter or thinner-film GC columns. The product is a single complete capillary column, not a replacement injection liner or guard component.
