The Restek high-capacity moisture trap removes residual water vapor from gas chromatography carrier-gas supplies. Equipped with 1/8-inch nickel-plated brass fittings, the in-line trap has a water capacity of 16 g and reduces moisture to less than 15 ppb. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 250 psi (1,724 kPa) and a maximum flow of 1.25 L/min. The trap is purged with ultra-high-purity helium and can be used with carrier gases including hydrogen. Moisture removal helps maintain gas purity and limits water exposure in GC flow paths. This purifier is intended for gases, not filtration of liquid samples.
