The Restek standard capillary-adaptable FID replacement jet is a service component for Agilent 5890, 6850, 6890 and 7890 gas chromatographs. The 61.5 mm jet has a 0.011-inch internal-diameter tip and a fluted opening that guides the capillary column during installation. Coated threads assist installation and removal during detector maintenance. The standard jet supports routine flame ionization detection without the Siltek surface treatment found on the separate high-performance version. Maintaining a clean, correctly seated jet helps support consistent detector operation. This jet is not compatible with the Agilent 8890 GC.
