Description

In purge-and-trap GC, foam may form as the purge gas passes through a sample. If this occurs, the foam can contaminate the analytical trap and possibly the GC column. To prevent this, our silica-containing antifoam agent can be used to effectively control foam over a wide pH range. See our instruction sheet for details on proper use, including the preparation and analysis of an antifoam blank.
Features & Benefits
Efficiently controls foam; effective over a wide pH range.
No hazardous materials, no components that are target analytes.
Effective at less than 0.1% of sample volume.
