Application Note

The Sartorius Flexel single-use mixing bag is a sterile 200 L container designed for use with compatible Magnetic Mixer hardware in biopharmaceutical buffer and media preparation. Its cubic film geometry and magnetic impeller mixing arrangement support powder incorporation and the dissolution of concentrated buffer ingredients. This predesigned configuration has silicone and TPE tubing, a large 8-inch top port, sampling and addition connections, and no drain valve. The fluid-contact bag film is polyethylene S40, and the package contains two bags. The bag assembly is a consumable used with the appropriate external magnetic mixing equipment; it is not a standalone powered mixer or a general-purpose storage tank.
