The Sartorius Flexel single-use bag for a Magnetic Mixer provides a 1,000 L bioprocess mixing chamber with silicone and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) fluid-transfer tubing. This predesigned variant has no drain valve and is part of the sensor-free Magnetic Mixer bag series. The flexible bag and magnetic-drive mixing technology are intended for preparing large batches of cell culture media or process buffers while avoiding contact between the fluid and reusable mixer drive components. Check that the selected tank support, mixer drive, tubing connections and transfer pathway match the exact 1,000 L configuration before starting a batch. During installation, support the film to prevent pinching or abrasion, fit the mixing components and inspect every fluid port. Establish filling sequence, mixing speed and operating limits under the site's validated process and monitor for leaks and foam formation. This configuration should not be mistaken for the 650 L version, or for a unit incorporating process sensors or a drain valve.
