Stemcell, 100-0650, ThawSTAR® CFT2 Automated Thawing System

Increase confidence in your cell thawing workflow and ensure sample sterility and consistent thawing performance by using the ThawSTAR® CFT2 Automated Thawing System. With a standardized thawing process that replaces manual, water bath-based thawing, ThawSTAR® eliminates the risk of contamination and delivers controlled thawing profiles. Using this convenient and compact system, you can thaw your cells directly in the biosafety cabinet. Simply insert a frozen cryogenic vial and retrieve it once the device alerts you at the end of the thaw cycle, after approximately 2.5 minutes. The ThawSTAR® CFT2 Automated Thawing System can be leveraged early in the R&D phase and scaled into commercial manufacturing.

During vial transport, protect your cells from transient warming events and ensure maximum cell health by using the ThawSTAR® CFT2 Transporter. It provides a portable solution for the handling and transport of frozen vials, from long-term storage in vapor phase liquid nitrogen or in a -80°C freezer, to downstream processing with the ThawSTAR® CFT2 Automated Thawing System.

ThawSTAR® CFT2 Automated Thawing System is compatible with a variety of 1.8 - 2.0 mL vials.

Note: For performance qualification documentation and accessories required to facilitate functional testing, use the ThawSTAR® CFT2 IOPQ Kit (available for separate purchase). Additional ThawSTAR® CFT2 Confirmation Vials to evaluate the performance of the instrument are also available for purchase.
