Answer:The kit delivers Oct3/4, Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc using three Sendai vector preparations.
Answer:It provides three 100 µL vials of each of the three vector preparations.
Answer:No. It is a non-integrating viral reprogramming system.
CytoTune™-iPS 2.0 is a non-integrating Sendai-virus reprogramming system for converting somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem cells. The kit delivers the four Yamanaka factors through three vector preparations: a polycistronic KOS vector expressing Klf4, Oct3/4 and Sox2, plus separate c-Myc and Klf4 vectors. This A16518 configuration is the three-pack format, providing three 100 µL vials of each vector preparation. The vectors are supplied at a lot-dependent infectious titer and are stored at −80 °C. The system is designed for a single vector application during reprogramming and is used with appropriate cell-culture media and matrix conditions for the selected somatic cell type. Because the vectors are replication-defective but biologically active, reprogramming work requires appropriate biosafety practices and controlled cell-culture handling. Clearance of Sendai vector RNA should be confirmed during iPSC characterization when the downstream workflow requires transgene-free reprogrammed cells.
