Answer:The kit uses HRP-conjugated streptavidin for biotin-based target detection.
Answer:The kit provides reagents for approximately 150 microscope slides.
Answer:Alexa Fluor 488 is detected using a standard green/FITC/GFP filter set.
Alexa Fluor™ 488 Tyramide SuperBoost™ Kit, streptavidin is designed for fluorescence signal amplification of low-abundance targets in immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. The kit pairs horseradish-peroxidase-conjugated streptavidin with Alexa Fluor 488 tyramide for localization of biotin-labeled targets in cells or tissue sections. After streptavidin binds the biotin-containing detection complex, horseradish peroxidase catalyzes local tyramide deposition, increasing fluorescent label density close to the target. The Alexa Fluor 488 signal is detected with a standard green, FITC or GFP optical filter set; its excitation and emission wavelengths are approximately 496 and 524 nm. This streptavidin configuration is intended for biotin-based detection and is not the goat anti-mouse or goat anti-rabbit variant. The package provides reagents for approximately 150 microscope slides of 18 × 18 mm, including blocking buffer, HRP-conjugated streptavidin, Alexa Fluor tyramide, hydrogen peroxide and reaction-stopping components. Blocking and the stop reaction help manage endogenous peroxidase activity and prevent excess deposition during amplification. The method supports multiplex imaging with appropriately selected fluorophores and can improve visibility of targets that are difficult to detect with ordinary fluorescent labeling. This is a research-use kit; assay performance depends on appropriate target-specific labeling and controlled reaction conditions.
