Answer:It is intended for the Agilent iCELLigence real-time cell analysis system.
Answer:Its electrode-equipped well design supports impedance-based monitoring of cells rather than direct optical absorbance measurements.
Answer:No. The six-plate box is obsolete and has no designated replacement.
Agilent E-Plate L8 PET is a specialized impedance-sensing culture plate for the iCELLigence Real-Time Cell Analysis (RTCA) platform. Its integrated electrode structures support label-free, time-resolved monitoring of cellular behavior through changes in electrical impedance during cell attachment, proliferation, and other dynamic responses. The plate uses a polystyrene well body with a PET sensor substrate and is specified for the iCELLigence instrument rather than conventional optical-only microplate readers. The format is supplied as six plates per box, with individual wells designed for the platform's sensor interface. The E-Plate L8 PET is obsolete and has no designated replacement. Laboratories maintaining established iCELLigence methods should confirm remaining stock, software and instrument compatibility, and consumable availability before planning additional assays.
