Answer:The fixed-needle syringe has a 50 µL nominal capacity and is intended for approximately 5–40 µL manual HPLC injections.
Answer:It has a 22-gauge, 51 mm fixed needle with an LC-style blunt and polished tip.
Answer:No. It is intended for manual LC injection valves; select an instrument-specific syringe for GC autosampler applications.
The Agilent 50 µL fixed-needle manual LC syringe is designed for introducing liquid samples through compatible HPLC manual injection valves. Its blunt, polished LC needle tip helps reduce the risk of damaging valve rotor seals and stator surfaces during sample loading. The syringe uses a 22-gauge fixed needle with a length of 51 mm and is intended for injection volumes of approximately 5–40 µL. Before injecting, rinse the syringe with compatible solvent, eliminate bubbles and ensure that the needle seats correctly in the injection port. Repeatability depends on operator technique, loop-fill strategy and rinsing between samples; use a consistent loading procedure to reduce carryover. The syringe can also dispense liquid manually, but it is not an autosampler syringe and should not be substituted for a differently shaped GC needle without checking compatibility.
