The column measures 2.1 mm internal diameter by 50 mm length and contains 1.8 µm fully porous particles with a 95 Å pore size. The double-endcapped Eclipse Plus C18 stationary phase is designed to give reliable peak shapes across a defined mobile-phase pH range of 2–9. The column's maximum pressure rating is 1200 bar. Its short bed and small particles support fast, high-resolution methods when operated with a low-dispersion LC flow path. Select an appropriate organic modifier and aqueous phase for analyte retention, filter or clarify samples, and equilibrate until pressure and retention times stabilize.
