Agilent Gas Clean 4-position connecting unit is a mounting and fluidic connection base for compatible cartridge-style gas purification systems. The unit has four positions and 1/4-inch gas-line connections, allowing multiple Gas Clean filter cartridges to be installed in a supported configuration. Gas purification can help remove moisture, oxygen or organic impurities from gases used in gas chromatography, but the connecting unit itself does not contain filtration media and cannot remove contaminants without appropriate cartridges. Select the required oxygen, moisture, hydrocarbon or carrier-gas purifier cartridges separately to match the gas supply and detector requirements. Install the unit in a suitably accessible position, maintain the specified flow direction, and use fittings suitable for the gas line. Shut off and depressurize the gas supply before changing connections. Leak-test the complete assembly after installation, and follow cartridge-specific replacement indicators and safety procedures. This item is the four-position connection base, not a complete filter kit.
