Answer:The antibody recognizes human CD54 (ICAM-1) and uses the HA58 mouse monoclonal clone.
Answer:A 488 nm blue laser and a detector near 515 nm, such as a 530/30 nm channel, support BB515 detection.
Answer:No. Their similar excitation and emission profiles prevent reliable separation as independent fluorescence markers.
BD Horizon™ BB515 Mouse Anti-Human CD54 is a fluorochrome-conjugated monoclonal antibody for flow-cytometric analysis of human CD54, also called ICAM-1. The HA58 mouse IgG1, κ clone recognizes an adhesion molecule expressed on endothelial cells and on several immune-cell populations, with expression changing during inflammatory activation. BB515 is excited by a 488 nm blue laser and has an emission maximum near 515 nm, making it suitable for detection in a standard FITC-like fluorescence channel. The 100-test presentation uses 5 µL of reagent per test. In multicolor panels, account for spectral overlap: BB515 should not occupy a panel together with FITC or Alexa Fluor 488 because their emission is too similar for separate discrimination. Use a suitable compensation strategy and sample controls to evaluate CD54 expression. Store the antibody at 4°C, protected from light, and do not freeze.
