Answer:Yes. Its optically clear polyester film permits fluorescence-based detection through the sealed plate.
Answer:The package contains 100 adhesive PCR plate sealing sheets.
Answer:Yes. The optical adhesive film is designed for secure sealing of PCR plates, including low-volume thermal cycling.
Microseal® 'B' PCR plate sealing film is an optically clear, adhesive polyester film for sealing PCR microplates during thermal cycling and optical fluorescence detection. The transparent construction supports real-time PCR workflows in which excitation and emission signals are read through the plate seal. A package contains 100 film sheets. The adhesive provides a tight seal over compatible PCR plate wells to reduce evaporation and cross-well contamination during cycling, including low-volume reactions. The adhesive remains effective at temperatures down to −40 °C, and the film is free of detectable DNase, RNase and human DNA. Apply evenly to a clean, dry plate rim using an appropriate sealing method; uniform contact is important for consistent closure. This film is a consumable seal, not a PCR plate or reusable lid.
