Bio-Rad Anti-Rabies Nucleocapsid Conjugate is a lyophilized, adsorbed fluorescent immunoreagent for detecting rabies virus nucleocapsid antigen in appropriate immunofluorescence assays. The reagent supports visualization of rabies-virus-positive specimens or infected cells using a fluorescence microscope and established staining protocols. It is supplied as four vials, each making 3 mL of reagent after preparation under the product instructions. The lyophilized format enables controlled reconstitution and use in virology laboratories. Use appropriate positive and negative controls, specimen fixation procedures and fluorescence optics to interpret staining. The conjugate serves as a detection reagent and is not a vaccine, viral culture medium or standalone diagnostic instrument.
