Answer:100 optically clear adhesive PCR plate sealing films per package.
Answer:Yes. Its clear polyester backing allows visual inspection and light transmission for suitable optical assays.
Answer:Apply the film uniformly to a compatible plate and press firmly across each well; a heated lid supplies pressure during thermal cycling.
Bio-Rad Microseal B optical adhesive sealing film provides a clear, secure seal for PCR plates during thermal cycling, fluorescence measurements, and temporary sample storage or transport. The transparent polyester backing permits inspection of wells and light transmission for optical assays, while the pressure-sensitive adhesive forms a tight seal when correctly applied. Each package contains 100 sheets. The film is suited to compatible polypropylene PCR plates and can be used with suitable polystyrene formats; its strong adhesion makes it unsuitable for certain polycarbonate plate designs. Remove the release liner without contaminating the adhesive surface, place the film squarely across the wells, and apply firm uniform pressure using a roller or the instrument's heated lid as directed. The film is for research applications and is not a pierceable foil seal. Verify plate compatibility and sealing performance before using high-value samples or thermocycling conditions.
