Answer:A 25 mm regenerated-cellulose membrane with 0.2 µm nominal pore size.
Answer:Sterile and individually wrapped, one filter per package and 50 per case.
Answer:Female Luer-lock inlet and male Luer-slip outlet in a polypropylene housing.
Corning 25 mm regenerated-cellulose syringe filters provide point-of-use membrane filtration of suitable laboratory solutions through a 0.2 µm pore-size membrane. These individually wrapped units are supplied sterile, with a polypropylene housing, female Luer-lock inlet and male Luer-slip outlet. One filter is packaged per wrap, and the case contains 50 filters. Regenerated cellulose offers broad compatibility with many aqueous and selected organic solvents, including DMSO, and can be used to remove particles from compatible sample solutions before downstream analysis or handling. The sterile configuration is appropriate when the method calls for a presterilized syringe filter, but filtration of a particular liquid should not be considered validated for sterility merely from nominal pore size alone. Confirm the syringe connection, solvent compatibility, protein-binding sensitivity and pressure limitations before use. Avoid confusing this membrane with the nonsterile 0.45 µm PTFE version in the same product family.
