The Corning® reusable glass spinner flask is a 500 mL working-capacity stirred culture vessel in the angled-sidearm 4500 series. Its transparent glass body, center-neck cap assembly and magnetically driven impeller support suspension cell cultivation and controlled mixing of culture media. This configuration has a 100 mm center neck and two angled sidearms with GL45 caps, providing larger access openings than the 125 mL version. The vessel is designed for repeated laboratory use with appropriate cleaning and preparation between culture runs. Sidearm access supports sampling and handling without changing the fundamental spinner-flask configuration. The 500 mL working capacity identifies the intended culture scale rather than the maximum possible brim volume.
