Corning, 4980-250, PYREX® 250 mL Narrow Mouth Erlenmeyer Flasks with Heavy Duty Rim

The Corning PYREX narrow-mouth Erlenmeyer flask is a reusable 250 mL laboratory glass vessel with a heavy-duty rim, approximate white-enamel graduations and an extra marking area. The reinforced rim helps reduce chipping during routine handling, while the tapered walls and narrow opening make the vessel suitable for swirling solutions, mixing reagents and preparing small batches of laboratory media. Graduation marks are arranged at 25 mL intervals across the indicated volume range, but they are approximate and should not replace calibrated volumetric glassware when an accurate final volume is required. The flasks are supplied nonsterile and without stoppers. Choose compatible closures and verify any required cleaning or sterilization method before using the vessel in sensitive applications. Avoid sudden thermal shock, inspect glass for cracks or chips and use appropriate protective equipment when heating liquids. The glassware is not a pressure-rated container and should not be sealed for pressurized operations.
