Axygen® polypropylene PCR tube strips contain eight thin-walled 0.2 mL reaction tubes with eight attached flat caps per strip. The clear, conical-bottom tubes are intended for compatible thermal cyclers that accept standard 0.2 mL strip-tube formats. Uniform thin walls improve heat transfer during cycling, and the attached caps provide a close fit to help control evaporation and reduce exposure during routine handling. The polypropylene consumables are nonsterile, free of detectable RNase, DNase, human DNA and bacterial DNA, and specified as nonpyrogenic. The product is supplied in packs of 126 strips, with 1,260 strips per case. Because the caps are attached to the strip assembly, no separate cap strip needs to be ordered for standard use. Confirm instrument clearance and strip positioning before selecting a thermal cycling program.
