Cytiva empty disposable PD-10 columns are plastic gravity-flow chromatography columns supplied without prepacked gel. A pack contains 50 empty columns for laboratories that need to load their own compatible chromatography media for desalting or small-scale separations. The column body accommodates approximately 13 mL of bulk medium and is designed for convenient sample loading and elution under gravity. Caps and support frits are supplied as column components, enabling in-house packing and bed retention. Unlike prepacked PD-10 desalting columns, these empty housings do not contain Sephadex G-25 or another separation resin at delivery. They are useful for custom laboratory packing workflows.
