Answer:It is a four-port, two-way manual switching valve.
Answer:It has a 6 mm internal diameter and 25 mm sanitary clamp connections.
Answer:No. Use compatible sanitary clamps and gaskets to complete the connection.
The Cytiva four-port, two-way manual valve directs fluid through alternative paths in compatible process chromatography tubing and column assemblies. Its 6 mm internal diameter and 25 mm sanitary clamp connections suit designated BPG column and related fluid-handling layouts. A two-way switching arrangement provides selectable flow routing without requiring users to disconnect a wetted hose each time a path changes. Stainless steel and PTFE wetted components support repeatable operation with suitable chromatography buffers and cleaning solutions. The valve has a pressure rating of 10 bar at 20°C; actual operating limits must also respect the connected column, tubing, and fittings. Before use, identify the flow paths, verify the valve's selected position, and confirm that clamp gaskets are correctly seated. A sanitary clamp and gasket are required at each applicable connection and are not assumed to be included. Inspect for leaks after assembly and cleaning.
