The Cytiva cassette tray is the organizing platform used to hold collection cassettes in compatible ÄKTA fraction collectors. It accommodates up to six cassettes so different collection-vessel formats can be arranged for automated recovery of chromatographic fractions. Compatible cassettes support collection tubes or deep-well plates, allowing researchers to configure fraction collection for protein purification, method development, and screening experiments. The tray is used with the fraction collection system rather than directly in the liquid flow path. Correctly seated cassettes help the collector position vessels beneath the dispensing nozzle and maintain a predictable collection layout during unattended runs. The cassette tray itself does not include the individual tubes, deep-well plates, or the fraction collector instrument.
