Answer:The nominal capacity is 4.0 mL.
Answer:Biacore Type 5 rubber caps are intended for 15 mm plastic vials.
Answer:100 polypropylene vials.
Biacore 15 mm plastic vials provide a larger polypropylene sample container for automated SPR experiments. Each vial has a 4.0 mL nominal capacity and a 15 mm outside diameter, making it appropriate for methods that require more working solution than small 7 mm vials can hold. Applications include repeated antibody or analyte injections, running buffer controls, regeneration solutions and other samples prepared for compatible Biacore instrument trays. The wider vessel format changes the required rack geometry and cap type: use Type 5 rubber caps for the 15 mm plastic vial format when penetrable, ventilated closures are required. Plan the sample volume around the instrument's injection demand, dead volume and number of repeated cycles. Avoid excessive delay between sample preparation and injection when analytes are unstable or susceptible to evaporation. Polypropylene can interact with certain sample constituents, so verify recovery for sensitive molecules. The package contains 100 plastic vials without bundled sensor chips or caps.
