Answer:The Supor EKV sterilizing-grade cartridge has a 0.2 µm rating and a nominal length of 30 inches.
Answer:The cartridge has a bayonet-lock connection and fin end with two silicone O-rings.
Answer:No. Housing fit, sealing arrangement and validated filtration requirements must match the installed cartridge configuration.
The Cytiva Pall Supor EKV sterilizing-grade cartridge uses a 0.2 µm-rated membrane in a 30-inch filter element for process liquid filtration. The specified end configuration combines a bayonet-lock connection, fin end and two silicone O-rings. This configuration must match the corresponding cartridge housing and adapter: correct membrane type alone is not sufficient for mechanical compatibility or bypass control. The cartridge is used in validated liquid filtration operations where bacterial retention, product compatibility and integrity testing are key considerations. Prepare the housing and fluid path using the process procedure, install the cartridge with clean seals and avoid damaging the end connection. Wet and condition the membrane with an approved fluid before the applicable integrity test. Track flow and pressure differential during use and investigate unexpected changes caused by loading, air binding or blockage. A sterilizing-grade designation does not eliminate the need for process-specific validation and appropriate pre-use or post-use integrity testing.
