The Pall Ultipor VF DV20 Novasip capsule is a process virus-filtration device for reducing small viral contaminants in protein-containing process streams. DV20 filtration uses a virus-retentive membrane in a disposable capsule format suited to evaluated small-scale bioprocess operations. The Novasip family uses a hydrophilic PVDF-based virus-removal medium and supports controlled filling, flushing, integrity testing and steam-in-place processing when the installed capsule configuration permits.
