The cartridge format enables controlled mixing of the aqueous nucleic-acid stream and the lipid-containing solvent stream, supporting reproducible nanoparticle self-assembly during method screening and formulation development. The specified cartridge version supports flow rates up to 20 mL/min and is supplied in a 200-pack. Formulation quality depends on the selected flow-rate ratio, total flow rate, lipid composition, buffer, RNA concentration and downstream dilution conditions; cartridges do not replace optimization of those variables. Match the cartridge to the instrument configuration and sample-switch assembly before a run, then use the validated workflow for priming and collection. Control cross-contamination and handle the fluid path in line with the experiment's cleanliness requirements. Assess resulting particle size, distribution, encapsulation and recovery using suitable orthogonal assays rather than assuming all formulations perform identically.
