Answer:A 10-inch in-line Kleenpak Nova capsule with 5500 cm² effective filtration area and a 0.2 µm membrane.
Answer:No. The G-suffix version is supplied nonsterile; a separate S-suffix variant is gamma-presterilized.
Answer:Sanitary flange inlet and outlet interfaces in the 1–1½ inch connection range.
The Pall Fluorodyne II DFL Kleenpak Nova in-line capsule contains a 0.2 µm sterilizing-grade liquid membrane for medium- to large-scale biopharmaceutical filtration. This nonsterile 10-inch module provides 5500 cm² effective filtration area and sanitary flange inlet and outlet connections in the 1–1½ inch range. The encapsulated format reduces the need for cleaning and assembling a reusable cartridge housing, while maintaining a defined membrane area for process-scale sizing studies. Its in-line flow arrangement should not be confused with the T-style Nova configuration or with the separate gamma-presterilized product variant. Sterilizing-grade filtration requires process-specific microbial retention validation, chemical compatibility assessment, leak-free installation and appropriate integrity testing. Because this configuration is supplied nonsterile, perform the specified sterilization procedure before aseptic processing. Select the appropriate operating pressure and process flow by application-specific validation.
