Answer:It helps reduce endotoxin binding or masking by sample constituents that may inhibit detection.
Answer:No. It is compatible with LAL methods but not the PyroGene recombinant factor C assay.
Answer:Five individual vials, each containing 5 mL of dispersing agent.
PYROSPERSE dispersing agent is an endotoxin sample-treatment reagent for bacterial endotoxin assays based on Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL). It helps address samples in which endotoxin binds to other constituents or becomes masked, potentially reducing the measurable response. Relevant sample types include lipid emulsions, electrolyte solutions and plasma-protein fractions. The reagent is supplied as five 5 mL vials, allowing separate aliquots to be used during assay development or sample-preparation studies. Establish a suitable treatment and dilution scheme with positive product controls to demonstrate endotoxin recovery in the actual sample matrix. An acceptable blank alone does not prove that inhibition or enhancement has been eliminated. PYROSPERSE is compatible with LAL assays but must not be used with the PyroGene recombinant factor C assay. Apply the reagent only in a validated analytical workflow and document the treatment conditions for reproducibility. It is a dispersing pretreatment reagent, not an endotoxin standard or a standalone detection kit.
