Lonza polyethylene glycol (PEG) supplement is a dedicated component for preparing the PowerCHO 2 powdered cell-culture medium system. This configuration supplies the PEG supplement associated with a 100 L PowerCHO 2 powder kit, rather than 100 L of ready-to-use liquid medium. The supplement can be purchased separately to complete or replenish the specified powder-kit formulation. PowerCHO 2 media are used in CHO-based protein-expression workflows, where consistent assembly of all medium components is important for process reproducibility. The PEG supplement should be combined only as directed by the appropriate PowerCHO 2 preparation procedure. It is not a standalone complete CHO medium and should not be treated as interchangeable with unrelated PEG reagents.
