The Spectroquant® AOX Sample Preparation Set supplies reagents and accessories for preparing water samples before analysis of adsorbable organically bound halogens. This set is used with Spectroquant® AOX Cell Test 1.00675 and is designed for 25 sample preparations. Its components include reagents AOX-1 through AOX-6, adsorption columns with stoppers, a graduated 12 mL plastic syringe with connector, and a blue microspoon. The preparation stage is important because AOX determination requires the target organic halogens to be separated from interfering inorganic halides before measurement. Suitable applications include wastewater, drinking water, surface water, process water, and other environmental matrices.
