Merck, 1010902500, Aluminium oxide 60 G neutral (type E)

General description
Standardized sorbents ensure reliable results every time. Our broad spectrum meets all kinds of needs. In TLC, silica gel 60 sorbent is considered the most versatile. Our assortment of silica gel 60 features different grades with particle sizes ranging from 5-40 µm: silica with a gypsum binder, silica with no foreign binder, and silica gel with a fluorescence indicator. We also offer high-quality aluminum oxide, cellulose microcrystalline, and kieselgur (also known as diatomaceous earth).
Application

Matrix Solid-Phase Dispersion Coupled with HPLC-UV for Simultaneous Extraction, Purification and Determination of Six Lignans in Schisandra chinensis Fruits.: This study presents an innovative analytical method involving the use of aluminium oxide 60 G neutral as part of the matrix solid-phase dispersion process, highlighting its efficiency in complex sample preparation and purification processes in analytical chemistry (Song et al., 2022).

Alumina physically loaded by thiosemicarbazide for selective preconcentration of mercury(II) ion from natural water samples.: Explores the use of aluminium oxide in enhancing the specificity and efficiency of mercury ion capture from environmental samples, crucial for environmental monitoring and pollution studies (Ahmed, 2008).

Heterogeneous Fenton oxidation of Direct Black G in dye effluent using functional kaolin-supported nanoscale zero iron.: Demonstrates the catalytic prowess of aluminium oxide in advanced oxidation processes, serving as a critical component in the treatment of industrial waste, relevant to chemists working with catalytic methods for pollution remediation (Liu et al., 2014).
