Description

Application

Sensitive and selective spectrophotometric assay of piroxicam in pure form, capsule and human blood serum samples via ion-pair complex formation.: This study presents a sensitive spectrophotometric method for determining piroxicam in various forms by forming an ion-pair complex with bromocresol green. This method enhances the accuracy and selectivity of piroxicam assays, providing valuable applications in pharmaceutical analysis and clinical diagnostics (Alizadeh & Keyhanian, 2014).

A high-throughput colorimetric assay to measure the activity of glutamate decarboxylase.: Bromocresol green is utilized in a high-throughput colorimetric assay to measure the activity of glutamate decarboxylase. This assay is crucial for biochemical studies involving enzyme kinetics and could be applied in drug discovery and metabolic engineering research (Yu et al., 2011).

Spectrophotometric and HPLC determinations of anti-diabetic drugs, rosiglitazone maleate and metformin hydrochloride, in pure form and in pharmaceutical preparations.: The use of bromocresol green in spectrophotometric and HPLC methods enhances the detection and quantification of anti-diabetic drugs. This research is vital for ensuring the quality and efficacy of pharmaceutical products (Onal, 2009).

Spectrophotometric determination of lamotrigine in pharmaceutical preparations and urine by charge-transfer complexation.: Bromocresol green is employed in the spectrophotometric determination of lamotrigine, facilitating the analysis of this antiepileptic drug in pharmaceutical and biological samples. This application is essential for therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmaceutical quality control (Alizadeh et al., 2008).
