Description

General description
Tedlar is recommended in several US EPA methods for sampling VOCs and sulfur compounds. Our Tedlar is made from a high-quality 2 mil Tedlar film for superior inertness, impermeability, sample integrity and good recovery data. Our Push Lock Valve (PLV) and seam-sealing process ensure that these bags are sturdy and virtually leak-proof, even under the most demanding sampling and shipping conditions.
Application

Preservation of exhaled breath samples for analysis by off-line SESI-HRMS: Demonstrates the utility of 5L Tedlar® SCV Gas Sampling Bags in preserving breath samples for secondary electrospray ionization-high resolution mass spectrometry, enhancing diagnostic capabilities in medical research (Sola-Martínez et al., 2023).

Quantitative GC-TCD Measurements of Major Flatus Components: Utilizes 5L Tedlar® SCV Gas Sampling Bags for gas chromatography with a thermal conductivity detector to study dietary effects on flatus composition, contributing to better understanding of digestive processes (Freire et al., 2022).

Quantification of volatile organic compounds by secondary electrospray ionization-high resolution mass spectrometry: Highlights the role of 5L Tedlar® SCV Gas Sampling Bags in the capture and quantification of volatile organic compounds, critical for environmental and chemical analysis (Liu et al., 2021).

Application of a Microfluidic Gas-to-Liquid Interface for Extraction of Target Amphetamines and Precursors from Air Samples: Details the use of 5L Tedlar® SCV Gas Sampling Bags in microfluidic systems for precise air sampling and extraction, aiding forensic and environmental studies (Collins et al., 2020).

Determination of linear and cyclic volatile methyl siloxanes in biogas and biomethane by solid-phase microextraction and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry: Discusses the effectiveness of 5L Tedlar® SCV Gas Sampling Bags in sampling for the analysis of complex gas mixtures, important for environmental monitoring and biogas quality control (Ghidotti et al., 2019).
